Statues

Seoul Grand Children's Park.

Sun setting, Spring rising

A fill flash can make all of the difference from time to time.

The Internet

Internet.
Bastion of the salacious and fallacious.
Ocean of promise choked with bottles of empty messages.
Created with the best intentions, subverted by the basest obsessions.
Anti social network services twittering cuckolded celebrity naked home movie.
Censored, invigilated, filtered, castigated
The “citation required” trendy truth thesaurus.
If we so despise and doubt the Internet,
why has the Encyclopaedia Britannica gone out of print?

NEX-7 High ISO in a real life situation

Sony NEX-7 ISO 1600 1/40 F5

To have any chance of capturing this scene a 1/40 shutter speed was the minium I could get away with, and through a zoom lens F5 was the widest aperture possible.  So I had to bump up the ISO, which I almost never do.

Picture at ISO1600 is very usable.  If you pixel peep it then there is noise, but when you reduce the file down from 6000x4000px to a more reasonable size the noise is not an issue at all.

Street Photo Two

I love the expression on this gentleman's face.  Looking good, Feeling good.

Street Photo One

Trying to take a few photos every week.  I enjoy taking photos in the streets here because there are so many streets and it is easy enough to get to where there are things going on.  There are people every where and things happening all of the time so it really is the easiest thing to work with as a subject.  If I get some time and energy I might climb a mountain.  Might is the operative word in that sentence.

Photo shot raw with a Sony NEX-7 though the 18-200 Sony Lens then developed in photoshop.
