Utility Bicycles
Bicycles like these have been servicing Seoul for more than 60 years and hopefully they will stay around for a while longer.

중랑천.
These shots were taken on a NEX-7 with the Sigma 30mm DN Lens.
A Sunday afternoon 45km round trip on 중랑천 in Seoul, Korea.
Valleys. This is actually a nice space that is being created between the lego block apartments. A creek with paths, artwork on the walls, fountains and a wading pool for the kids. North-Eastern Seoul 당현천, 준계 1동.

친구. Friend. The jog of a Normal lens is that if you take a photo like this you have to engage. You can feel the moment that these two are sharing and you become part of it. A little smile, a nod, a thank you, and they are gone.

Walled City
NEX-7 SONG 18-200 29mm f18 1/80 ISO100
If you aren't sure what that is, they're anti-tank bollards across a creek at the north of Seoul. It blows the mind that Seoul has been a walled city for so long. Even when it was Hanyang it was ringed with barriers to defend itself. Understanding how long they have been living inside a fort, it is commendable that so many Koreans are not at all insular, and the few that are suddenly seem a little more reasonable.
